I am an experienced and passionate Speech and Language Therapist and a fully registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
Having practiced in the U.K. and Europe I have worked in socialised health care and the private sector for over a decade.
Following completion of my M.A in English Language from the University of Glasgow I gained my Post Graduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy from Queen Margaret University in 2007. I have years of experience working with children with Autism, genetic conditions, language delays and disorders, speech sound difficulties and more.
Having worked in Early Intervention, community clinics, diagnostic teams in Child Development Units, schools, pre-schools and clients’ homes I have a specific interest in working with children and supporting families. Born in Edinburgh I developed an interest in Linguistics during my Masters Degree at Glasgow and went on to become a therapist, working across the U.K. and in Ireland for the NHS and privately.
I believe in helping children, young people and their parents with up to date, evidence based approaches tailored to the individual and I strive for my therapy to be fun as well as informative and effective.
