Meave is a bright light in helping Theo build up his own communication ‘tool’ box, social awareness, self-organisation and self-confidence!  By using a variety of games, exercises, tasks, conversations, social stories, and humour she has developed a valuable relationship of trust, respect and honesty which has helped him to feel anchored in an often confusing world.  He will often save questions “to ask Meave…” when he is unsure of school-yard communications, spurring on his own attitudes of awareness and embracing the challenges of his ASD neurology.

Theo is a now self-aware teenager who is learning to be aware of others, communicate effectively and looks to the future as making his positive contribution to the world.”
